Richard Gaylord

Richard has twenty-five years of award-winning production experience as a cinematographer and director of photography of work ranging from broadcast television news and documentary programming to corporate, educational, and digital web content delivery. Richard’s rock-solid technical expertise skill set includes studio and on-location lighting and image and audio asset acquisition and post-production supervision and editing.

Richard’s cinematography work can be seen in the award-winning Discovery broadcast documentary films In The Shadow of The Blade and An Ocean Away: The Donald Matocha Story and in hundreds of hours of programming for public agency and corporate communications. Also a highly skilled editor, Richard has extensive experience acquiring and combining archival and new footage for educational and museum projects.

His client list includes the University of Texas, the Texas Association of Registered Accessibility Specialists, St. Edward’s University, the Lower Colorado River Authority, the United State Environmental Protection Agency, the Texas Department of Transportation, the United States Army, the Morguelan Energy Institute, PBS, the Military Channel, Walt Disney Pictures, New Line Cinema and other organizations.
